Abstract & Details

In this work, a planar dual-band bandpass filter (BPF) implemented with a meander inductor in the signal conductor strip of the conventional coplanar waveguide transmission line has been demonstrated. The proposed dualband BPF showed the frequency response in S-band and C-band at center frequency 2.75 GHz and 4.9 GHz, with a low return loss of -32.787 dB and -29.887 dB, and with the low insertion loss of -0.832 dB and -2.27 dB respectively. The -3 dB bandwidth of frequency response in S-band and C-band is 1.55 GHz and 0.987 GHz.
